  • @limpkik78 inteltuts is right, but since you asked me, I'll answer from my point of view. Sony Vegas is good for adding random text, (not 100% customizable) modifying timelines, rendering high quality audio and HD video. After effects has another storyline. AE is good for making your own custom text and motion graphics. But when you render something from after effects, you're usually stuck with a large file size. That's where I like to use Sony Vegas to finish the job. First: AE Sexond: SV

  • @limpkik78 Both programs are quite flexible for different things. You can actually use both software to create effects but essentially, SV is for video editing and cropping etc while AE is for creating VFX and motion graphics. So it really doesnt matter what you use, as long as you know what you are doing :)

  • @ShrapmaElite im confused what people use SV and AAE for like is sony vegas made for just getting the quality of the vid and making it widescreen and such and aae for editing i have both and i have no clue when to use or the other
