A batizado is a celebration of students hard work during the year. It is also a chance to experience what capoeira is all about through workshops and teachings from masters and instructors from around the world.
Batizado in english translates to Baptism. As it signifies a students first real introduction into capoeira and there welcomed into the group. There is no better way to welcome someone then a take down hence this video. Enjoy
