@meghanthemonkey "use your diaphragm" means nothing at all...your voice sounds airy because of incorrect placement in your throat and improper use of resonators.

Work on your breathing and put your support lower (meaning use your diaphram). It sounds like you're singing from your throat and if your taking lessons you should know that's bad for your voice. But you do have a very sweet voice and if you work on it I'm sure it'll be fabulous. :)
