It was a lazy mistake at best. She took the word "advocated" from an anti-Franken press release and didn't bother to compare it with the actual quote before she asked the question. Oh, and then she lied about having said Franken said Libby and Cheney should be executed to Franken just seconds before. Shameful.

I think this was an honest mistake on Chetry's part. I like Al, but he is known for being pretty partisan in his thinking, and he IS known for making some pretty radical jokes that people sometimes take seriously.

Either way, this is boatloads ahead of how he'd be treated on Fox. At least IMO
