@Nederweed : Suriname and Indonesia where so unfortunate to have the same colonisator, the Netherlands. As slavery ended in Suriname, the Netherlands was short on cheap labor so they brought Indonesians to work the lands. That’s how some Indonesians became Surinamers (Sranan man)(your answer in a nutshell).
