signed. i'm a viper player, and you can take out a lot of her momentum if you don't quickstand, plus you can nullify some of her setups completely, just like a reversal-safe superjumpcrossup roundhouse after a crossup BK, which is one of the most effective weapons against big crouchers like sagat, abel, etc... also the direction of her BK's is much more predictable if she does them from close up, it's harder to block correctly if they come from mid- or fullscreen as a superjump.

@P1tchBlack No dude that doesn't work at all. If you don't quick rise Viper has enough time to recover from the burn kick and then do another one before you get up. So you can't escape it. You have to deal with it somehow.

i learned something about viper, when she knocks you down DO NOT QUICKLY GET UP, let your self automatically wake up so you dont get so confused like that sagat did.

If he would have stayed down for a while he would have never been hit by those shenanigans at the end
