  • Dude, why'd you leave the construction crew? You weren't on CSX property were you? I think the best thing to do would be to leave, but take down the foreman's ID so you can file a complaint with CSX. I did the same thing to a subway motorman in Toronto who decided to make up his own film policy that made it illegal for people to film out the front window (we have RFWs in Toronto). He had no argument against you unless you were on land marked with a "No Trespassing" sign.

  • @gricer1326 Your point is well taken. I would have been perfectly within my rights to stay and shoot all day.

However, I think that foreman was more about just not wanting his team to be videotaped. People are fearful of any media taking pictures.

Plus, I didn't want to make an enemy in case I meet up with him again which is likely to happen with the new contruction campaign starting on The Florida S-Line.

  • Okay, question. Q741 was called R741 becuase of the re-route. Would it be called that all through its route, or just until it got back on its regular route?

  • Yeah, R is for re-route. I believe it will hold that designation all the way.

  • Danny! how cool! you got the Mt. Dora locomotive that was there in 2000! I didn't know that it was a 1913 locomotive. It was a cool experience for me (especially when I was very little at the time). I rode the train with my family and was lucky enough to get up in the engine itself. You should check out the Disney railway.

  • funny to see you on lee road turning onto 1792, didn't think i'd ever see you traveling a road i'm familiar with.

  • @CSCtalent I would have gotten a lot closer and shown more of the equipment in operation. There were dozens more crews working there.

  • @mbta1000 im quite sure but its mostly used on power moves but I think its like a section freight

  • i thought you named your GPS Helga????

  • Good horn on the coal train.

  • @distantsignal Regardless your videos are great keep it up :)

  • @distantsignal You have a good point, but you don't really have too much to worry about. If he or any other CSX employees hassle you again for filming when you have a right to do so email CSX customer service and give them the guy's ID and explain what happened. They will most likely try to give you the runaround but just keep emailing them if they don't get back to you.
