and even some mechanical sequence if you want to add some like simulating a plane taking off on the runway by putting a mechanical rail and some small motors and planes taxiing on the tarmac (2/2)

that's pretty awesome, but it'll look better if the lights are blinking I think you can use this microprocessor called Cypress PSoC you can program the chip and all that and can make blinking lights and put in a light sensor so when you turn off the lights the LED's inside the terminal and the runway will turn on, (1/2)
