  • @repeatedjellyfish 'upstairs in the shopping center at the twin towers' Bingo! that's the one!

I also worked the Randwick salon. This is getting eerie. Perhaps we DO know each other. But I suggest we take our convo PM from now on, since we have obviously taken this thread outrageously off topic to the video above.

Accept to say to all you readers out there: See? Live your young lives to the full, then, ,someday, you may find a great joy in reminiscing.

  • @OzzyPatriot There may have been something extra in my diet when I was young and dumb. Not sure where he went after H2000, but it was upstairs in the shopping centre at the twin towers. I remember he had a 70's jag that he dropped a V8 into it. I also worked with the guys at Randwick for a while.

  • @repeatedjellyfish Was that the 'Niel' that went on to 'Wizards' at Chatswood? If so, he was one COOL dude, for sure. I worked with him at H2000 aslo, but it was at a different location, upstairs somewhere nearby, that he ran, really futuristic, like a spaceship with portal doors etc, as I recall. But yeah, he was a 'God' of that org at the time.

LOL. Just a shower to keep you awake, eh? Sure.. sure... hehehe ;)

  • @OzzyPatriot I worked there for a while as well, with Neil. I recall going to many of those parties, sometimes going back to work with only a shower to keep me awake.

  • @repeatedjellyfish Hey! I worked at Hair 2000 in the Bondi Junction plaza. Those were the days, eh? Dance parties weren't called 'raves', yet. Westies weren't invited, nor did they know they even existed. Young people were showing 'their true colours' through there hair and make-up for the first time in.. well.. probably ever for our culture. And anything seemed possible. It was SO exciting, such a wonderful time to have lived through.

    Cheers.

  • @OzzyPatriot Must have known you for sure. I lived in Surry Hills and worked in your area and also Double Bay as a colourist. Wild times indeed.

  • Hehehe. I was a hairdresser and the same age as these punk/glam kids in 1986.

What a great time it was! The music, the fashion, the sex, the drugs. Hehehe.

I lived something like this then, also. So I loved this movie.

My street in Bondi Junction had 'the lios skins' tribe at one end, and a punk tribe at the other. Most days they'd have a brick throwing fight. It was quite exciting. Especially as my car was parked right at the median line. LOL!

    Loved this post, thanks.

  • @jvolume punkpunkpunk

  • @TheJolenebean ~~Anthrax is on Gang Of Four's album Entertainment~~it's on youtube as well but they won't let me post the link directly for some reason.
