He is even considered on the top 5...He created the conditions for the longes sustained econmic growth in American history..Balanced the budget and every year lowered the federel deficit! Surplus funds...More American were employed, with environmntal advances. He passed major legislative blls for every American...Medical, Medicare. Civil Rights, voting acts.

The line was drawn in the sand.Red China wanted the whole of east asia under it's control.Chairman Mao even said this as much.LBJ said over my dead body.A terrible bloody war was the result.LBJs resolve was on the principle of freedom but his tactics were an overkill instead of strategic.why defeat Hitler only to placate to Mao?.

LBJ was God awful. Not only did he lose the Vietnam war by not following Gen'l Le May's advice to bomb Hanoi like they did Tokyo during WWII, he also further betrayed American servicemen by covering up the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty. If there is a just G-d this rotten bastard is burning in hell for all eternity.
