V - Visitors è il titolo dato in Italia a due miniserie televisive statunitensi di fantascienza, V e V: The final battle, trasmesse nel nostro paese come un'unica miniserie.

In Italia la miniserie è stata trasmessa per la prima volta da Canale 5 nel 1984 ottenendo molto successo. La pubblicità dell'anteprima su Canale 5 che annunciava "V - Visitors" aveva la voce di Marco Silvestri.
Anche negli Stati Uniti le due miniserie ottennero molto successo. Ciò portò alla realizzazione di un serial televisivo di 19 puntate intitolato sempre V in cui proseguono le vicende narrate nelle due miniserie. Questo serial televisivo è stato trasmesso in Italia con il titolo Visitors.
Nota: nei paesi di lingua inglese, per evitare fraintendimenti, l'originale prima miniserie e il serial vengono spesso indicati rispettivamente con V: The original miniseries e V: The series.

The Miniseries
The Visitors first appeared in May 1983 in the four-hour miniseries V (read the episode guide synopsis) made by Warner Brothers Television and aired on NBC. Kenneth Johnson was the talent behind V as its creator, writer, director, and executive producer. The show was such a ratings smash that the network ordered a sequel. NBC actually had wanted a weekly series next, but Warner Brothers could not find a way to make it work for the money.
