HI dr nardi , i had my 3rd surgery done 6 months ago , i am keep having pain both side of my gym area . i have to take pain killer eveyday. why do u think iam haveing this pain .... please reply .. many thanks ..

Hi, I dont think pain 6 months after surgery is "normal" but then again you have had multiple surgeries and it creates inflammation and scar tissue and potentially damage to the nerves. You definitely should see your surgeon and see what he thinks and maybe even see a few other doctors for "2nd opinions." Good luck

hi dr naderi . i had 2 cheek agumantation done ,and got them removed .insertin was placed inside the mouth. iam planing to get the thired cheek implant done ...do u think i can hav thired surgery . iam worryed about scares i hav now and do u think surgern can fix screws again !!

Hi,

The more surgery you do, the more scar tissue and the more complex the case. If you are going to get a 3rd cheek implant then you want to see someone who does them every week and if very good. Not someone who does cheek implants occasionally. I cannot tell you more without seeing you and examining you. Safe non permanent fillers are also an alternative to more surgery.

although I grew up in Boston and love my old city and the Patriots, and Red Sox, my office is just outside of Washington DC and I operate here in Northern Virginia at Fair Oaks Hospital

Anesthesia does have an added risk but the risk is very minimal in a healthy young patient like yourself if the anesthesia is administered by Board Certified Anesthesiologists in a proper hospital setting. The risk is not zero but it is safer than driving in your car on the highway.

Keloids are over aggressive scars that go beyond the bounds of an incision. Hypertrophic scars are thick or wide scars due to excess tension on the wound closure. Steroid injections, massage, Silicone sheets, Pulsed Dye Lasers and excision are some options.

I also want to know what are the chances of some one dieng from this procedure because of the anesthesia. I am a 24 year old male. so what would be the risks regarding that?

You said AHH like 60 times , but it was educational i guess . Can you talk about keloid and hypertrophic scars? How do you deal with them? I appreciate your input.
