I will agree that there is no right translation, but there are definitely wrong translations.

@MidgetMadness0 I'm sorry if I'm a little late in replying..but ask him this. 'What did Christ save you from?' He saved us from hell, and although we're still in these fleshly bodies, it's different when you purposely sin. Along with partying comes plenty of sin that gets us so far away from Christ. The bible tells us to loved God mind, soul, strength..etc...there's actually a couple of verses that backs that. If we purposely fail at serving God,how are we showing him any sort of love? God bless

@brophala I don't see how my God having a son takes away from his omnipotency?
-
And who told you that?

Tell him he isn't guaranteed tomorrow and the Lord could be using now or you could ask him what he's going to tell Jesus if Jesus asks him "Why did you waste time partying when you could have been winning souls for my kingdom?"

I sang this at my church.
speaks words that a song in 1757 is still as relevant today as it was then - proves the depth of hyms and their relevance.

It saddens my heart to see this. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the Life. He is a merciful and loving God who forgives each of us daily by giving us a "new slate." Just let me say this: the bible is holy and there is no right or wrong translation. God is just, but God is good. Jesus calls us to love others and I don't see too much love in some of the comments below. God so loved the world, which means every culture and every people. Good people, bad people... God loved, so should we.
