I play clean 90% of the time, so the Noiseless sound right to me. My 98 Deluxe Strat have the Noiseless. I play through a Fender Blues Deluxe. Yeah Baby.....

The SCN pickups sound hotter to me. Vintage sounds better suited for clean stuff.

That's how I hear it too. But add the Fender (Clapton) mid-boost kit to the Vintage noiseless set and WOW...

ive got a mexi 50s strat with vintage noiseless it used to have the SCN,the vintage are alot smoother and less glassy weird overtones to my ear, upgraded to add a TBX tone control now its just a really great sounding GTR

The Noiseless seems to be much more lower(got more bass) than SCN. What is the wood of the guitar loaded with SCN ??
I got a strat with ash body last year and loaded with Texas Special. It turns to one piece of shit. Too bright, and now I don t know where to put the blame ... on the pickup or on the ash body.

Both bodies are Ash. These will sound completely different that the Texas Specials. Try changing the volume pot to a lower value if you think they are too bright. I am finding out that the noiseless on my Am Dluxe are different than the noiseless sets you buy separately.
