What a biased, unresearched piece of sensationalism this is. For example, they question why the U.S. has such a high infant mortality rate when we spend twice what most other countries spend per capita. Must mean we have a bad healthcare system? In fact, we have more than double the preterm births of most of these other countries meaning our technology and medical professionals find a way to keep these babies from dying in the womb. WHY USA doctors are not booked ,,, CAUSE people can not afford to go ... and when things get bad they die or , get fucked up by the desease ... Europeans and Canadians NEVER go to USA , that is a fact.

I've seen the line through the 7 before. It's a common quirk like the loop through the 2. The reason for the line through the 7, I think, is so not to confuse it with a 1, where the 1 has a diagonal on top as you can see printed here (some people actually write that).
