I blogged about this with photos and text awhile ago, but someone asked more detailed questions about it so I thought to just do a quick video of the stand.

Essentially this stand lets me have a work surface or miter saw in the same box. The top is offset and... oh, just watch it or read the blog article linked above to see the details of why the top is so offset...

  • Excellent, Soltup1... ah, so when you previously said "table saw" you meant it as an out feed table. mea culpa, I read that as you wanting the table for 3 tools including a table saw (like a bench top model).

Glad it worked out... sounds like you'll soon have flip tables everywhere! :)

  • Well, I don't think I could help you much as I have no idea how you plan on incorporating all three of those into one table. Besides, the measurements would be all different even if I did have plans for mine since your saw decks are at different heights than mine. You'll probably have to go with the video's explanation of what it does to come up with how to accomplish that for yours.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

  • Nice rig and well explained.

  • (Mistakenly lockermaster before.) Well, I finally made my version of your invention. I love how it works. I've decided to keep my router separate, but now I plan on building a stand for my table saw so that it can serve as an outfeed table for my miter and vice versa. Thanks again.

  • now that is clever.

  • cool design

  • Oops, if you are going to supply more precise plans, could you respond to this posting. The other address was my son's, I think.

    Thanks.

  • Is there anyway you could provide more precise plans? I'm hoping to build a table that incorporates a table saw, a miter saw, and a router. I very much like this method.

  • thanks for for the idea...
