Here we go again, people.

Yeah, I would have mirrored the Geerup extravaganza earlier too, but Keepvid was messing me around and I'm on Ubuntu right now. Plus that all went to hell in a handbasket anyway, and I've never been one to question providence. Anyway, I just figured out how to easily mirror the good stuff on my Linux of choice, so the first bandwagon I get to jump on is ZOMGitsCriss' latest false flagging.

Her channel: http://www.youtube.com/zomgitscriss

Yes, I'm still working on Curiosity Royale. Yes, it's taking ages because I'm learning how to use an open source equivalent of Windows Movie Maker. No, I haven't been playing games all this time, though alcohol has become involved.

Also, heartfelt greetings to all my new subscribers. Your ravenous cries for more shall be appeased soon!

  • @z4i4 ... in the bum with lots of pork sausage.

  • @z4i4 And oddly enough it doesn't take much for some people to feel as if you are attacking, criticizing, blaspheming, insulting, or devaluing their ideas or religion.

Just asking simple, honest, seemingly innocent questions gets them worked up eventually. No matter how nicely and open minded you approach them. In about 10 minutes I usually end up being told I am going to burn in hell. Just for asking questions about why they believe things, or what doesn't make sense to me.

  • @TruthfulChristian I agree with z4i4 regarding the severe scrutiny of religion, not typically the individual (unless they're truly obnoxious or demonstrably hypocritical, for instance).

I think it's worth remembering this is not just scrutinizing Christianity; it's all religions, without discrimination. I'd suggest a reason Christianity and Islam get more prime-time rebuttals is due to their prevalence in nations with freedoms of religion and speech, but I'm just speculating :)

  • @TruthfulChristian :: "So should atheists criticize, attack, blaspheme, insult and devalue anyone who is a christian?"

    YES.

however, attacking 'belief(s), dogmas, prophets,' etc., is not tantamount to directly and personally attacking or devaluing the individual.

religions are not people, and it seems you, like most christians, fail to make the distinction between 'idea' & 'identity.'

'Good people do good things, and bad people do bad things, but religion causes good people do do bad things'

  • I know a few people who are Christians and who function normally in socieity. So should atheists criticize, attack, blaspheme, insult and devalue anyone who is a christian? wow...

it doesn't matter in what you believe, just act nice to people and you will get the same thing.

you seem like one of those people who call people names and cyberbully other people. it's sad, really.

  • @z4i4 Beautifully and eloquently summarized; I duly stand corrected!

  • @QuadError :: to say 'let them believe whatever they want to...' seems vacuous 'cause it's not as though we have any other choice;

we cannot force them to abandon their beliefs - we cannot deprive them of their "right" to delude themselves with faith-based fantasies.

but what we can do is criticize, attack, blaspheme, insult & devalue ('cause god knows religion is much over-valued) their belief(s), dogmas, prophets - anything that makes up the sickness - for, ultimately, the benefit of society.

  • @QuadError I'm always running into little things that trigger connections with previously heard stuff. Don't know the relevance as of yet, but another event may tie something together. If it turns out to be a bad idea, I wont blame you. ;)

  • @z4i4 The Streisand effect strikes again!

As for fucking Islam, I'd say let them believe whatever they want to believe as long as they don't hurt or restrict the lives of anyone else; fuck whoever takes it seriously :)
