Why did we make these videos? Well, in the waterbed industry there are no set guidelines to determine the "percentage" a waveless waterbed mattress should be rated at. In a retail store setting, this really didn't matter as the consumer would just buy by "feel" by physically laying on the waterbed mattress and then determine if the waterbed mattress was in their budget or not.

Since retail waterbed stores are nowhere to be found, the internet has become the choice for waterbed connoisseurs. Here lies the problem. One company says that a 4 Layer Mattress is 90% Waveless, while the another says that theirs is 99% Waveless. Most of the time the consumer just buys by price and "Expectation" - The waterbed mattress arrives, gets filled and is as wavy as a free flow and then suddenly your "Expectations" have been let down and you feel ripped off. We've seen this time and time again. That is why we have made these video's so that when you buy from us the waterbed mattress will perform exactly as it does in the video. Expectations Fulfilled!

  • how much weight can waterbeds hold? and how long do they last?

  • @sjjdiienno1 A Waterbed can pretty much hold the weight of any two human beings. While the exact weight is not known, in the old days some waterbed companies demonstrated the strength of waterbeds by having an elephant stand on them. Waterbeds mattresses if taken care of by adding the conditioning agents and cleaning the body oils from the outside should last over 20+ years.

  • Had California king water bed for yrs. When we sold our first house the inspection showed a broken floor joist. We heard waterbeds wont cause that. We assumed it was a weak board and kept the bed. Our second house now has a broken floor joist....Beds gone! Best of luck with owning one. BTW, our home here was built in 1957 and is on 2x10's not 2x8's like most houses and they all look like new because the house has a basement. No weather damage or any other structure issues..They do break joists!
