whoa...somebody disliked this. hopefully it had to do with polish music and not the expert performance. i enjoyed the tempo of this performance more than some others, including other performances by heifetz. it has the upbeat of a dance more than heifetz' blazing virtuoso statements on what it means to be a master violinist. aww....heifetz. you spit at me for mediocrity
i just listened to the competition on this one, and hefeitz takes the cake on this one so far. i'll report back on any others, but this rendition is screechingly hauntingly ridiculously perfect.

there is a much better recording where he does not leave out the octaves at the end.
