BMW E60 M5 RPi GTC Exhaust Startup and Rev

2006 BMW E60 M5 with a custom version of the full RPi exhaust including RPi headers, RPi GTS section 1, RPi hybrid GT section 2, and custom RPi GT section 3. Sound capture of warm startup and a few revs, from exterior.

The custom section 3 included larger mufflers for a completely drone free sound from the interior, regardless of RPM or throttle position, while keeping all of the horsepower gains from the regular RPi GT section 3. Interior sound is also substantially reduced, including the cold start. Exterior sound remains aggressive with throttle application, and carries for quite a distance.

The first few seconds of lopping is from another vehicle that drove by. The sound shown here is magnified by the relatively enclosed location (inside a shop). In the open, it's quieter.
