  • Why didn't you swing it like this at Columbia lakes you digga....Ty Weber here, remember me?

  • Can you help me place Columbia Lakes? Throw me a bone here. :D

  • Burley, I would challenge that Hogan took it inside more. Having watched Hogan personally from directly behind him, he NEVER got under the plane. He would start slightly above what many refer to as shaft plane and then shift down to it. Coming from inside/under the plane is a very weak position to strike from, and Hogan's strike was anything but weak. Martinez I enjoy how you have described the feelings of resistance in the swing.

  • Arnie...I agree completely....under plane is a death move. This swing was two months ago and I have successfully gotten the club less 'inside' and am reaping the benefits of that.

  • We'll agree to disagree then.

    Cheers

    :D

  • Burley,

This was a month ago...have moved on from here quite a lot.

I disagree with 1), 2) would destroy anyones' swing...the flattening of the plane should not be attempted by a conscious move/change of direction of the wrists..3) Yes his left side cleared out of the way better than mine does in this video sequence, which allows the right side to stay higher than mine does here.

    Thanks for the comments.

  • It seem to me like you play a pull....

  • ive been working on taking club back totally with turn of my shoulders.getting more flexible getting my whole core and body into shot like hogan did releasing everything.what do you think

  • Rice invitational in Houston, OB left and right on every freakin hole....crosswinds on every hole. It was the last tourney of the fall break every year.

  • great action. impressively similar to hogan

  • Martinez-

I understand, I don't think anyone should TRY to make the Harley move. It is a movement that is natural in certain swing types. All I am saying is you should be aware of it and know how it helps. Hogan getting the club more inside on the BS, is correct..we are going to have to disagree on that one. Seeing Hogan practice and talking to him as a kid, is why I am so into Hogan. I don't think you are wrong, more lacking information that would help. swing looks great, keep grinding for it.
