I heard awhile ago about Toxic substances in Chinese drywall. I did some reasearch and decided to post a video about it, not as much ranting as it is information... but you do get your rant in there.

  • yet again NO EVIDENCE OF TOXIN

like the toxic gas cars featured on your drywall on your wall.

  • sulfur is bad.

the car is a picture and causes no harm.

that isn't drywall it's wallpaper over paneling

    .

  • I live in Louisiana and had to rebuild after Katrina. My drywall isn't the one from china but my friends house has the china drywall. The smell is one of a kind, it smells like 1000's of rotten eggs in is home. I feel bad for him and his family because now they have to gut their house out for a second time.

  • Yeah from what i've read and heard, it's an awful awful thing for anyone who has to rebuild their home, especially those who's house has been devastated from this faulty materials especially those who's homes have been devistated once already.

I actually have to agree with the lawyer, with allt his bailout money floating around, they should toss some to these people who now have to rip out their sheetrock, wiring and anything else copper in thier house.

  • Goggle this: 'where to buy American made products.'

All kinds of stuff is made in the USA. How about we make the first weekend of every month "Buy Something American Made Weekend."

Some stuff can cost a few bucks more, but hey, you can't take it with you.

  • well the problem with this drywall is most of it was installed during the last building boom when the supply for the drywall wasn't able to keep up with demand in the american and canadian markets, so they imported it.

  • We need to stop relying on foreign imports and start letting US companies grow and be prosperous again and as for the stuff we have to import ,China isn't the only country out there we have others that are close like Canada and Mexico.

  • It's worse than just a bad smell. The sulfur is suspected of being the cause of corroding the mechanical systems to the home. Many of these homes will just have to be bulldozed. I agree. Lets put a border ban on all Chinese products. Maybe this is the secret Chinese weapon to destroy the west. This drywall scandal couldn't have hit us a a worse economic time.

  • or we need to start making our own shit. tired of seeing "made in china" on everything

  • yeah it could be ommiting low levels or something... i don't know... it's kinda what i thought, but it's not seriously hurting anyone in means of mortal injuries yet... just givng them nosebleeds, headaches and respretory infections... which are bad yes... but nothing has killed anyone... then agian no one yet knows exactally what is causing it either
