This poem coan be found in a new and origional book of poetry titled "Reflections on Abraham Lincoln". Co-authored by Susan Hanna and Erica Stux. It describes her childhood in Lexington. At 10, she made a hoop out of willow branches and made a hoop skirt. As First Lady, she overspent on dresses of satin and brocades. She is compared to Ophelia drowning in layers of dress material.
