Smoking on the air back then was acceptable on talk-shows and the evening news. You will NOT see that ANYWHERE on the air today!!!

Between Carson, the Huntley-Brinkley Report and some other broadcasts, about all they did was smoke on the air prior to 1980. The anti-smoking crowd rules the world these days.
