i agree with Venom did not do so much that touched me. but hell they at least they tried to push our shit before most of us even knew what shit really is. Agalloch does magic that people from the future wont do. it just works that way. i mean music happens when it is meant to happen for each soul. none of us are wrong

i agree that he lost it on Venom but maybe he don't know that bands like that had their mark. what i think is that Agalloch knows how to use piano and drums together nearly as well as i have ever heard.

I agree, but Venom wasn't really a pioneer they just happened to have a song entitled " black metal" , but they were a punk influenced band more or less. IMO Bathory was the very first, followed by second wave bands like Mayhem and Immortal etc etc
