I think that these shoes are just a little nicer than all the rest... they are nice dress shoes, but they are still boring. All dress shoes are boring and uncomfortable... I would like to see just one that is truly comfortable enough for everyday wear, sophisticated for formal and COOL looking. Really cool looking. They are similar, but that has been my experience. AE are fine shoes..though I prefer Cheaney as they seem to wear better and remain to form much better over time..

My cheaney shoes remain in outstanding condition overall, where my AE did not hold up as well with equal use..fwiw.

maybe so but the production process is similar and Allen Edmonds happens to have a really bang up customer service which to me is just as valuable as the shoe its self. regardless of what you say those guys really do try their best on a shoe. Which is also the vibe I get from these guys which Is why i feel that they are analogous to each other. Or if your just trying to start some yurop is betterer than amurrica flame war then good job , 3/10, you got me to comment at least.

Cheaney & Sons shoes are one of the high quality shoes money can buy. Unfortunately, the shoe size of 6EEE (U.S. size) is not available - have to ask for the special order.

I disagree..Cheaney is superior and more refined.. Allen Edmonds do not hold up well or endure as well over time.

i was at value village looking for fur for my costume

i walked by the shoe section and i saw a pair of shoes that just stood out to me, it caught my eye

i walked over to it

it was my size, clean, nice, & i could tell how great quality it was

so i went home and looked up the brand "cheaney" and holy crap i just got these shoes that retail for 500$+ for 15$!!!!

i think it was destiny, i love these shoes
