Watch our School of Fish kids doing their bit to help clean up a beach!
Through partnerships with MCS and WWF, School of Fish and Fish of the Month, M&S's plan is to make sure our sea life is protected for future generations to enjoy
Marks & Spencer's activities
M&S has had a sustainable fishing policy for 12 years and 84% of the wild fish sold at M&S is now independently certified by the MSC or undergoing MSC certification. Now M&S is taking it further and this is where Forever Fish comes in. As part of this, School of Fish aims to increase children's knowledge of fish and the sea, raise their awareness of the importance of protecting fish and encourage them to choose fish as a healthy eating option.
M&S has committed to:
donate all profits from the sale of food carrier bags to WWF, MCS and education projects to protect the marine environment sell great tasting, great quality lesser-known species and promote a Fish of the Month ask volunteers to help clean over 400 beaches around the UK twice a year and collect data on the litter found.
