  • This video was uploaded on my brithday

  • too bad gmc new look bus #2525 is gone. i thought that was the fastest one!

  • NYCT should've kept these Fishys longer as ZToronto TTC has been. USA Transits are so stupid for retiring old buses so early on their ages.

  • i've been on those buses, i rode on them when i was 5 years old i think it was 1993 i believe

  • would love to see this bus in service in Brooklyn, especially on the B1 or B4 route.

  • This bus GM/Blitz New Look Bus Roster Fleet No. 5227 sure does show an ancestry lineage resemblance to the MCI Classic MTA Bus transit version no. 5887. This GM/Blitz New Look Bus #5227 is companioned very well with the Flxible New Look Bus Roster Fleet No. 7340.

  • BXM4C, I see what you mean regarding the A/C system. I just noticed that the condenser fan motor cover/roof spoiler in the back is empty! You can see the back window through the grill. So it's just on there now for historical looks. Does look strange. :)

  • That bulge on the roof is the a/c unit that was added when these buses were rebuilt by Blitz. Only the hard seat Fishbowls have rooftop a/c.

  • I left New York before the MTA switched from the old "electric blue" to this scheme.

BTW: What is that large bulge near the center of the roof on this bus?

  • U mean there isn't one this year?
