Ive caught a 60lb gar on a shakespeare round bait cast rell spooled with 20lb test line. Dave mercer is beast!!!

Dave is AWESOME he is a GREAT person of the sport of bass fishing and we need more like him to grow the sport to the next level... the ONLY thing that could make my like him more is IF he fished for Daiwa and not "She-Mano" other then that hes an awesome Fella and a all around good guy. I would like to put him on some big FL large mouth.

Alligator Gar are amazing animals, we have one as a pet and he is truly an intelligent and magnificent creature. Pretty cool show, nice gar. Could have had a little more information on the actual fishing techniques, history of the animal or something instead of watching you guys play with yourselfs during that time. Also your laugh is pretty annoying... but overall not bad.

As far as the more info about fishing techniques there is a ton of that in the full TV show. However this is just a short you tube version. As far as the laugh sorry dude that's how I laugh. lol
