OK everyone, I know its been a long time since our last video update, but things happened that somewhat put us in crisis mode. We had been leasing a nice facility and out of nowhere the owner decided to sell it. We had two weeks to move out and find a new home. This really caused a slow down for us but we were able to move it into my garage temporarily and continue working on it. Then of course the planet decided to go bankrupt and all the auto makers took our money. Bluck!.... With all the bad news and crazy economy we decided to change our strategy and focus on the Business side of things and try to set ourselves up for funding and sponsorships. So we spent the last three months doing this and have acquired some private funding and a new facility. We are still seeking more funds but at least we do not have to slow.

We are now located at http://www.motorsportranch.com and have access to a private race track for R&D. This is Huge for us and we are happy that we are surrounded by tons of professionals drives and race care teams. Many people have offered their knowledge and support already so we are on the right track for developing a truly awesome sports car.

  • Did you think about making a mold of that? You can make good money by selling just the fiberglass shells.

  • @JustFlyDammit Yes this whole project is a Body Buck for making more... a Lot more.

  • i'm learning a lot from your videos, thank you so much. what about all the lines from the tape transferring to you mold seems like it would be easier to lay over with body filler and gel-coat over the plug then pull the mold. would you please explain why y'all did it this way because i am very curious to know Thanks Lee

  • @weldonlee1 Yeah thats true about the tape lines, however I am not trying to make a mold at this point in the video. I use the tape so that I can remove the foam and wood underneath and i'm left with a fiberglass shell that i can use to build up on. This entire car is a Body Buck of which I will take molds from once everything is sanded and sculpted the way I want it. Hope this makes sense.

  • what did you put over the duct tape ... thanks for the videos they are helping me so much

  • We after we aluminum tape we began building a fiberglass base.

  • So in this video, At the end of the video you made this timelapse video that you continued your work on your Blade in your Garage. Unfortunately, I didn't hear any sound on your timelapse video here. And because At that time YouTube have a 10-Minute limit on videos, the timelapse is short when it come to add fiberglass on your hood then it fades black.

  • @torau666

Polyester resin would dissolve the styrene foam.

  • wow

  • Yeah thats what we used it sticks well and allows fiberglass to be pulled from the foam if needed.
