Hemp is illegal because it has detrimental effects on your health. I however think that you're right about it being a good material to make things out of such as rope and plastic, however I have to disagree with it ending world hunger because it makes you even hungryer. @thebestdrummer51 Of course things are made illegal for a reason but not the reasons you would think. Hemp is not at all detrimental to your health, smoke is. Even so, do you really think it's the place of governments to stop people from doing what is considered "unhealthy"?
