This is a video response to Don Exodus' video series, "Creationism's Damage to Christianity." C.S. and Wild Bill have collaborated to restore intellectual integrity to the creation-evolution issue.

I recommend the article by Nadeau in "Radiocarbon 43:2A (2001) 169-176".

This example provides a good synopsis of the 'problem' of measurable C14 in a supposedly 'C14 dead' source, and a complete inability to account for the 'contamination' despite thorough experimentation.

  • Here's a bit of encouragement: C.S., awesome video! You're a very intelligent and skilled debater. You counter all opposing claims AND build a strong case of your own with evidence, examples, sources, and citations. It must be frustrating dealing with the people on here who aren't on par with your level of skill, but don't be discouraged! I can't wait for your next video!

  • @ShiningFist03 Thanks so much for this encouragement. We really appreciate creationists poking their heads up every now and then to say hello. I know there's lots of us out there but the evolutionists like to gang up and downvote videos... We plan to make more videos in the future. Stay tuned! (and I'll get back to your message soon)...

  • very good and holy you understand the Wonders of the Creation i wish all the Youth today is like you, never been so Gullable to be carried by the Defiants that mocks with pride and evil cheers your duty to the Youth as a good example may not easy but surely you will not be Defiants like them, for you have a wide understanding. in the Commandments. your Patience and knowledge might lead to wisdom and nothing would be harder for you, because you know HIM, and guide you. you make angels happy.

  • @AngelofLoveOne Thank you :)

  • @itzahazylife "Which sometimes causes a new sequence, and thus, a new trait."

...but has only ever been observed to cause harmful mutations or "beneficial" ones that are no more than modifications to already existing code...not "new" by any stretch of the truth.

  • @wildbill1240

There's no need for external info to be added to DNA either. The code of DNA is merely the sequence of nucleotide pairs. The code is the sequence. So, if the sequence changes, the information changes. If mutations cause a brand new sequence to arise that has never arisen before, then brand new information results.. That's what a mutation is. A change to the sequence. Which sometimes causes a new sequence, and thus, a new trait.

  • @itzahazylife There is no need for any external information or programming to be added to the system—the existing properties of the water molecule and the atmospheric conditions are enough to give rise inevitably to snowflake-type patterns.

  • @wildbill1240

atoms attract and bond to form molecules..molecules attract and bond to form chains and compounds, etc..however, if u put all of the parts of a plane in a pile, do the parts attract and bond by themselves?..no, but atoms and molecules do..especially in liquids such as water.

  • @wildbill1240

u AREN'T throwing them into a blender..u are subjecting them to the attractive forces of nature over a very long time..the universe IS chaos..but, order can come out of the chaos if the conditions are just right..and in a universe so big and so old, the right conditions are bound to arise. look at the amazing order and symmetry in a snowflake for example..

  • @itzahazylife ".imagine the possible structure" I'm imagining a bunch of chaos. Throwing billions of atoms into a blender doesn't mean you're going to get anything but a bunch of atoms in a blender.

  • @itzahazylife "this information is merely the order of nucleotide pairs" - and the information you are reading is merely the order of letters in an alphabet. You seem to be asserting that simplicity begets complexity - naturally. What is the mechanism for simple becoming complex? Your answer of billions of years would not suffice. If anything, time shows us that mutations break living things down and make them worse, not better.

  • and u have to remember..life isn't like a house or a car. life self replicates. since the process is NOT perfect, the replication isn't perfect..this ENSURES genetic diversity. it ensures evolution and change as long as life continues reproducing. this all started when the first self replicating molecule formed..all it took was 1 to form somewhere in the universe..it formed here on earth simply because it was most possible.
