I believe it. Most guys i know who are old enoguh to have used lead said 71/2 low base quail loads were the best duck shell. Number 5 lead were for geese.

@decoycarver17 Yes you can use lead. Amazing what how much better it is. I was shooting 20ga #'6's and my dad was shooting 28ga #7's. Most of the birds fell stone dead.

@duckzbuckz365 Just a basic duck call. Just grunting and rolling the '"R's" to the sound of a diving duck (the Rosy Bills).
