  • Showing that you and Fox have an agenda Glen?

  • That info is bogus, I saw a CBS report about the story and Glen says they didn't cover it. Makes you wonder how often this guy makes up numbers to support his case. And Glen the word is ASTERISK not ASTERIKS

  • Beck likes playing with numbers and letters. But Sesame Street was more fun.

  • Glenn Beck gets an ass-tricks too

  • Isn't the New York Times a News Corp. member? As in owned by the same guy who owns Fox?

  • Thank you Glenn for showing the overall statistics. I wonder how many vids mediamatters4america posted in remembrance of 9/11 on 9/11, instead of their usual slandering propagandizing vids? Open your eyes people

  • Now that Glenn Beck is gone noone talks about him? I thought this video was gonna be funnier cause it said spelling champ.

  • No matter how much you whip this so-called story, Beck, you flaming asshole, you and Pox "News" can't make anything of it. There's nothing there except the made-up fake scandal created by Pox and Breitbart.

  • Haha maybe that discrepancy is due to the fact that the whole "scandal" was itself a fraud.

  • If those statistics were honest, it would be blatant proof that Fox suspiciously overindulged the story with proof of it being broadcast countrywide but only received in the south and here in Kansas.

  • This guy seems perfect to be a President, an actor, a womanizer, an idiot, an African, a complete idiot extremist liar, seems like the natural progression of American Presidents

  • @Nimlins everything anyone on Fox says is bogus.

  • @themange59 ACORN stands for this slogan:

    (A)ll (C)ommunist (O)rganized into (R)evolutionary (N)uts

  • Interracial, interethnic and interfaith marriages have been around for centuries. They've been illegal at times in various places, but more often they have been a way of life. For a short window of time, same sex relationships are granted acceptance. But as Muslims and Hispanics take over Europe and America, respectively, homosexuals and their relationships are going back into the closets where they belong. Enjoy your short time in the sun and out of the closet.

  • Same sex "marriage" and traditional marriage can never be equal. Same sex "marriage" will be considered an odd form of marriage and not accepted as equal to traditional marriage. It's an oddity and a perversion of traditions going back years and years in human history. And this Western Civilization which has recognized same sex couples in one form or another is being replaced due to low birth rates by societies of the most homophobic tribes on the planet--the Islamics and the Hispanics.

  • Who gives a fuck about social acceptance?

It isn't necessary for the majority to socially accept anything. If this country was still predominantly racist, would it be ok to make interracial marriages illegal again?

  • But you're mostly right about the fact that the current struggle for equal marriage is really only in the name. Most of the legal rights of marriage are finally equal.

Still, until the government recognizes either both or no marriages, it's just plain unfair.

  • Um. Are you an idiot?

Before the beginning of the women's rights movement in the early 20th century, women never had the right to vote in this country.

Before desegregation, most places practiced segregation.

Before it was deemed unconstitutional, interracial marriages weren't allowed.

The same goes for same sex marriage, and none of your false historical "facts" can change that.

  • It's because Fox pretty much created this "scandal", sure there was some news there, but no scandal.

  • Even if marriage licenses are issued for same sex couples, it will still be considered different and by some strange. The strongest opposition to same sex marriage is among the African American, Hispanic, and Asian American communities. That is, you cannot pin opposition to same sex marriage on conservatives alone. The fact that the majority votes consistently against same sex marriage means that most people don't accept it. Since we are talking about social acceptance, that means something.

  • @electango

When I was in the Navy we had a great term for this, just because something has been done one way doesn't make it the right way. If we always did things the way that they were always done then we wouldn't have this great country, something conservatives ultimately fail to grasp.

  • @electango

And you still fail to recognize the failure in your logic. You state that because the majority doesn't agree then it is automatically wrong...which is what I was pointing out.

I agree with you, that the fight about the word marriage is kind of silly...however, the majority of this country has been SO wrong about SOOOOO many issues that I can hardly accept your argument as nothing more than regurgitation of something you heard on Fox

  • Except that marriage has never been between same sex anywhere at any time. Never. Now, blacks weren't always in the back of the bus and women weren't always not allowed to vote. Schools weren't always segregated. So same sex marriage is very different from segregation or women's suffrage. Besides, the only issue in same sex marriage is the name marriage. All rights associated with marriage are already available to gay couples. Much ado about nothing.

  • @electango

And the majority of the country didn't support desegregation of schools, civil rights, woman's suffrage, black's right to vote...and so on

Because the majority speaks does that mean that no one's civil rights are being trampled?

Because by your logic blacks would still ride in the back of the bus and your mother wouldn't have the right to vote

  • Do you have some specific opinion of mine you can pinpoint as untrue? I doubt it. Most of my opinions are mainstream. For example, I oppose same sex marriage. That puts me among the majority of Americans who have voted time after time thumbs down on state initiatives concerning same sex marriage. This is true all over the Nation. You probably think because homosexuals keep banging their post and pans and screaming at the top of their lungs that the country supports them. It does not.

  • I guess you just can't help yourself. Trust me, 99% of the world is not interested in your sexual fantasies. I suppose in your mind, a gay person can't be a conservative. As far as I know, Glenn Beck has not made homosexual issues part of his shtick as Haggard did so I'm not sure where you're seeing hypocrisy from Glenn Beck . Perhaps in your mind, unless a gay person is a raging Stalinist like you are, he is in the closet and deathly afraid of being outed.
