Cyclists have there own rules on the road. Some of the most dangerous fuckers are ridding downtown toronto. Weaving, sneaking up on wrong sides, crossing on reds, taking up whole lanes etc....etc. That said, if you ride your bike defensively and respect cars and trucks, i think it would go a long way.

Riding your bike on the road in the GTA is a stupid idea and I have no sympathy for people who get hit. There are too many bad driver's and people know this. Ride on the sidewalk, you won't get in trouble.
