Italian Vogue is making history, being the first non-black magazine in the WORLD to EVER feature all black models in their fashion spread for the July 2008 issue. This is very historic...and I am sooo excited that I own the issue because it is SOLD OUT everywhere.....THAT'S CRAZY!

I bought all 4 cover issues! And then 20 minutes after buying it, I decided what the hell and bought an additional 4 cover issues which means I own a total of 8 issues! I spent 3 months in Italy around 2 years ago and let me tell all of my sistah's something...GO TO ITALY!! First off, THEY LOVE BLACK WOMEN! I thought I was a celebrity because they were falling all over themselves, both men and women, to meet me. And at random places like sitting outside of a cafe or walking down the street.

@ShareeMonique. There is an all white issue. All of them! Duh. That's the ISSUE. It's not about trying to separate. It's about recognizing beauty in all shades and Most main stream fashion/ beauty magazines do Not Feature Black beautiful woman. What. One bald head Super dark African woman in an entire issue is suppose to be enough? Is suppose to satisfy us. I love everyone But white woman are everywhere. Up down and all around the media. Did they have to do an All black Issue? No. Was it nice,

@Meg62685 yah you have a point there... I guess I just think there shouldn't have to be a "black" issue. They should just be in the typical everyday magazine...sorry if I sound ignorant or anything. I know they are discriminated against still to this day but I don't know anyone personaly who has a problem with them. Infact I'm a huge Tyra fan...I'm not sure where I'm going with this so I should probably stop trying to explain :/ sorry

@SimplyMeStephanie Why does it matter? because every mainstream beauty/ fashion magazine has white women cover to cover. If you are not black why and how are you aware of discrimination against blacks do you live in a bubble?

@chilltip Don' t worry, I' m italian and I don' t like italian language it s not very easy to learn, english language is better :)
