Great hit but I think Welker won that one. Got back up and took it like a real man should.
-
So this is suppose to be a dirty hit ?He did not make helmet to helmet contact so how is it a dirty hit ?
-
@xcelorater its also funny because of the score during the play
-
@xcelorater you cant judge too much shit on that dumbass, im pretty sure if you beat a team it says more than if you beat a team that beat them. who did the pats lose to this year? THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS and how many rings do they have? less than six? oh yeah but thats good for you guys...pussy patriots.
-
It's funny because the steelers suck. They lost to the broncos. Patriots beat the broncos suck it
-
@mjdkid100 also, Welker was hit in the chest, with Ryan Clark's shoulder. it's not like he hit him in the head. how stupid can you be?
-
@mjdkid100 "the Pats own the Steelers over the last decade" contributes nothing to the discussion, so for you to even say it means you must be stupid.
Wes Welker was hit while the ball was still in midair. deal with it.
-
@domaug You could not be more retarded. The ball was 5 yards away. It was a dirty cheap shot. Meatheads like you enjoy watching people get hurt I guess. That's so tough of Ryan Clark to hit someone when there not looking or expecting it since they are nowhere near the ball.
With the exception of this year, the Pats own the Steelers over the last decade. Deal with it.

-NFL head of officiating Mike Pereira.
-
"A lot of people think it's a foul to leave your feet," ... Pereira said yesterday from New York. "Launching is not a foul. There is nothing in the rulebook that states that at all. It's a misconception people have.
"It is a foul to hit with your helmet against a defenseless receiver. It is a foul to throw a forearm into the neck or head area of your opponent. I don't think either of those things happened. I'm not a fan of those high hits but if you do it with your shoulder you're OK."
@mobydoug ugly cheap shot 3 seconds after the play? are you stupid? the ball was still in the air so the play was still on. also, he hit Welker in the chest with his shoulders. how is that cheap? that's what everyone considered a "good, clean hit" in the NFL.

Great play. The only negative is that Welker is still alive after the hit.
