Hey Kim, thanks for taking the time to ponder and respond.
I was referring to Olive as in "PalmOliveSoap" and his fabulous self-assessment. LOL
Yes, I would say that you're right about the public figures not counting, since we don't really know them. But there may be a few exceptions to that, like Captain Sullenberger who landed the plane on the river in NY. Until there's a scandal involving his "secret past" that's about as close to a universally recognized hero that I can think of.

Well I thought on that a couple days and yep you are over my head. Olive as in Ollive Oil as in PopEye. My DH and I have that little saying Oli(o)ve you. I guess my heros aren't people out there in public. My hero's are people being there amazing self everyday and usually with a smile on their face. Public stars, sports stars nah don't really phase me what so ever. Except once in awhile to the negative. Because I don't really know them.

Hi Pappy, yes, this is one area in life where being stubborn is an attribute. Simply by refusing to give up the struggle, we achieve much. Ray

Well, Terry, all three of them, eh? I may have you beat by two. :) With three women in the house, it's rare that I'm allowed to replenish my wardrobe more than once a year. A few white shirts for the office and I'm good to go.
Continuous improvement is indeed the key. So you're in sales? As much as I enjoy making a point, I've never been a good sales person. I tried it in my early days and pretty much stunk at it. I've met some really good ones though. Ray

Hi Olive, you're right. We should all start by valuing ourselves as stars. Of course, once you do that then you have an obligation to continue doing star-like things. Oh, the pressure! Ray

Hi Kim, well, identifying a hero in your world shouldn't be too difficult. Let's see, your list probably starts with Olive, and then goes on from there. :) Ray
Ok, I'm gonna need to check out this Sony Vegas because I detest MM. You should mos def make a tutorial, I'd be interested in seeing how you created this effect. Peace.

Hi Slim, it looks like I failed to respond to this comment from two weeks ago. Sorry about that. By now, I have uploaded a green screen tutorial, showing how I make the backgrounds. Thanks, Ray.

However did you create the slideshow background!?! Awesome!

Thanks, Slim. The slideshow was created with a green screen. I've also switched from Movie Maker to Sony Vegas Movie Studio (1 month free trial). I put together my set-up on the cheap, but it seems to be working as I think I'm getting a little bit better at it with each new video. I've been thinking about making a video about the process -- maybe next weekend. Ray
