Horizon is proud to announce the start of shipments of MiniPak - its first handheld fuel cell product, powered by mass-produced Horizon micro-fuel cells and new low-cost hydrogen storage cartridges. The MiniPak addresses the power gap created by increasingly power-hungry devices and limited improvements in the batteries that power them. It also helps bring myriads of low cost USB devices traditionally designed to be linked to the PC - into portable off-grid settings. This disruptive development is now available and other important announcements should follow shortly - WATCH THIS SPACE!

  • this device will revolutionise everything... goodbye fossil fuels... goodbye

i'm buying shares in this motherfuckker...

  • Nice....

  • This invention has the World record in the longes uav flight, so why not any other battery.. I think most can figure that answer out.. :D

  • u guys talking about fuel cells but lithium bateris are advancing really fast, they a thin film litium ion batery that is way smaller and way more powerful then a fuel cell, and dont forger people batteries can recharge from solar hydrogen is made whit help of fossil fuels, batereis are way more efficient , new li ion has 900 watt hour energy density

  • These services are necessary. Should be given. Cool! Do you like iPhone?

  • nice :D

  • @stillclaimndp Lasts as long as 10 Alkaline AA batteries on 1 charge.

  • @CensorshipFTL "IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION: 1 HYDROSTIK = 10 disposable AA batteries at 1W continuous power consumption. This is because at 1W power consumption, most AA batteries can only last one hour, while the HYDROSTIK has enough energy to last 10 hours. If 1 HYDROSTIK is thenrefillable 100 times, the sameHYDROSTIK can replace 10x100 or 1000 disposable AA batteries over its lifetime E (INCLUDING MULTIPLE REFILLS) - when the required continuous power is 1W"

  • @CensorshipFTL Answered it myself, here you go:

"Each HydroSTIK can store 15Wh of energy, enough for 1-2 charges of a 3G smartphone, or 2-3 charges for average cellphones"
