This is a cover of Temple of the Dog's Reach Down... Which is normally sung by Chris Cornell who has got at least another 3 octaves on me so I make do with what I got.

  • Wow, is this an entirely original treatment? Very impressive. If I were you I'd send this to Chris's management and see if you can get some money for it or at least meet him or something. I think he would love this

  • @ckb614 I would say that it is. I have been playing this one this way for a while now. I don't know what the actual chords for the song are. I just play it like I feel it I guess. The way I sing it has more to do with not being able to hit the notes that guy can reach. I sorta slow the whole thing down and then just have fun voaclizing it anyway I can get away with

  • Just realized I left out one line from the second verse.... " I've got no hands to tie behind my back and I'm sparkling like a heart attack!" Ah well

  • Now that's singing from the soul.

  • I love this video but the camera man got too involved and carried away.

  • @bishop437 If I remember right, you missed a few right after

"I called the blessing of the wind I'm feeling lighter than the breath of a dove"

" I've got no hands to tie behind my back

And I'm sparking life like a heart attack"

"Now I've got room spread my wings, and my message is of love,"

    Other than that, rather excellent.

  • Love this vid but I think the camera man got a little carried away with the back up vocals.

  • Great job guys! I wouldnt mind stumbling upon this drum circle thats for sure. SG!!!

  • I had to come watch this again. Great cover.

  • Nice job

  • This cover is amazing, If it was a crappy pop song 50,000 people would have seen it by now. This is the song/album that openned the musical door for me to love 15 minute guitar solos and preparing my mind to be blown by Phish, GD, and the like. Sweet! Bonus points for playing this track and not some of the more popular ones.

  • beautiful!
