After a long musical break, 6 years to be precise, I got back into a band. After realising why I left the whole band thing behind in the first place, I called it a day on that too. Feckin Singers ey!! Now I'm here, me against the world, well, against dingey, stinkin, empty venues that trade in dodgy pints and shaftin' Musicians anyway. Operating outside of the city's clique, and proud to be! Between arrogant industry types, tellin ye 'you need to sound this way or that' or competitive musicians thinking that everyone is a threat to their 'chances'. I just want to do what I have enjoyed doing since I was 4; Singing! And also what I was doing since I heard my first Beatles record; Writing songs! I love music. I love writing, I love playing, so thats what I'm gonna do! Hopefully, you'll come see me some time. And hopefully you'll enjoy the show! Rise Up, Take the power, Make it ours again. JMD.
