Atlantis, the Palm is a resort that will be located on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a joint venture between Kerzner International Limited and Istithmar PSJC and is expected to be completed by September 2008. The architectural design is based heavily on the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.

The resort began to accept individual guest reservations on February 1, 2008 for the resort's opening in September.The resort will consist of two towers linked by a bridge, with a total of approximately two thousand rooms. There will be two monorail stations connecting the resort to the main section of the Palm Jumeirah islands. The resort will also include a water theme park (160,000 square meters), a conference center, and 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2) of retail space.

u gotta chill with the big pray stuff, Dubai didn't force anyone to come and work for them, the informations are plenty and guys like u are plentiful, don't tell me they didn't hear that there is no labor union. besides every great nation was built by slaves and cheap labour, USA WAS BUILT BY SLAVES AND CHINESE, even today its exploiting Mexicans, heck even global corporations are relocating for cheap labor. so why Dubai should be any different?!!

As a migrant worker, you enter into slavery under the guise of big pay. Your employer confiscates your passport so you cannot leave. Your pay is much less than was advertised, which forces you into staying for a long period until you can repay your fees for getting to Dubai. If you leave your employer, you can be caught and sent to a debtors prison. You work from sun up to sun down without any days off in 120degree weather during the summer without any shade. Safety is nonexistent.

I love traveling and love luxury. I will be visiting the Atlantis soon and I know my money will go to the workers who many are migrant workers who will send their money back home to their poor families. Without dreams... there is no hope.

The people get something to eat and a working place because of the Atlantis hotel. Without this tourist attraction there would be more poverty and more famine

toditotv, its not the atlantis' owner's responsibility to feed others' hungry children. He gave jobs to thousands of people from around the world and that make these people able to feed their children back home. He also work hard to make his own money. Parents, work and feed your children.
