  • Nice tune

  • good stuff - probly some of the best command station demos on here. Yeah, I think I saw that soft core porno this was the soundtrack to as well

  • Love the pad sounds on this machine! Definitely blows what I've heard on the electribes out of the water! Thinking about getting me one, now...

  • I love the XL-7

  • @KubriksMonolith I have the Korg Electribe Mk2 and I disagree its not that good. Maybe their other models are good but that was the biggest mistake i've made when it comes to eqiupment.

  • As an historical piece of music I like this. However, this machine has now severely dated and the music now sounds out of date. At least the latest Korg Electribes are units that can still produce music that sounds as if it is for todays dance scene.

  • I have to agree with retaxez. I've owned the Korg ESX-1, EMX-1, and EM-1 (I sold this to upgrade to the EMX-1). I then bought the Yamaha RM1X. The playability and features on the yamaha killed the Korgs, and the RM1X is significantly older. The sounds weren't as good. I then got the MP-7 with the XL-7 ROM, and sold my ESX-1 and EMX-1 and downgraded to the ES-1 and EA-1. The electribe series cannot compete, and are severely overpriced considering the lack of being able to play two notes/same time

  • pretty sure this is just a microphone recording

  • hell, no! XP-7 MP-7 rocks the shit of korg. Korg's are great no doubt. But this rocks

  • the korg family of grooveboxes are much nicer sounding.
