This day long conference hosted by the Center on Law and Security examined whether the protections guaranteed by the First Amendment are currently under strain as a result of actions taken by the government in the name of national security.

This is panel two, "On the Matter of Free Speech and Incitement," featuring Niall Brennan, Glenn Greenwald, Burt Neuborne, and Geoff Stone, and moderated by Barton Gellman

  • The NPR woman from the audience just proves again how that network has become a joke and boot-licker of the boots of power.

  • "I can't tell you exactly how I know that... maybe I actually saw something that you haven't seen..." - LOL.

  • For those interested, the part where Glenn humiliates the reporter from NPR starts at 55:00

    She started talking at 53:00

  • @Milom2 Doesn't go beyond that? The reporters identify with the National Security State irrespective of which wing of the War Party is in power.

If you do any research on the JFK assassination you will find that the CIA was employing stooge journalists against Jim Garrison and others.

  • @clouz22

National Security Reporter=Orwellian Doublespeak for stooge of security services.

  • Dina Temple-Raston is nothing more than a mouthpiece for her ruling class masters. I give her hell on a regular basis along with others at NPR.

As William Colby, former director of the CIA stated: "The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media."

  • Nice,

Glenn finally call Nina on her bull.

  • Alaki goes every where , its a fact that he was invited in a dinner in pentagon how lovely!! so the pentagon official also were inspired by alaki to bomb and kill civilian in afghanistan ,iraq , kosovo and elsewhere.

  • @psbjr

Well done, but you forgot that the only thing that trickles down is their urine on our faces.

  • GLENN THIS (your response to Temple-Raston) MAKES ME SO PROUD I CAN'T STOP MAKING THE "PROUD MOM" FACE. just fyi. i know that's kinda weird.

  • Greenwald is awesome, fuck these NPR shills.

  • Roshonara Choudhry was sentenced to 15 years prison for her attack on a UK member of parliament - Stephen Timms (Labour MP for East Ham) is not, and has never been Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
