Paul Newman appears on "I've Got a Secret" (October 3, 1956) with host Garry Moore and panelists Bill Cullen, Jayne Meadows, Henry Morgan, and Ann Sheridan.

This is Part 1 of 2 (Paul Newman doesn't appear except to introduce himself). The first contestant in this segment is anesthesiologist Dr. Robert W. Kiest of San Rafael, CA, whose secret to be guessed by the blindfolded panel is that he's in a water tank, holding his breath. Turns out that he breathes pure oxgen for a while before submerging, and this is treated as a new and surprising discovery (perhaps it was at the time).

The second contestant is Larry Curgy of Hollywood, CA, whose secret is "I give violin lessons to Jack Benny". Lots of predictable jokes about Benny's talent but it's all tongue-in-cheek as it's made clear how much Benny is loved by one and all.
