  • hehe, I wanted to be Alex P. Keaton when I was a kid. Mum and I still laugh about how I used to get dressed up in my suit and walk around with a brief case. Once I sat down with the paper and turned to my Uncle "the dow is down" and shook my head. To which he replied "again!?" knowing full well I had no idea what I was talking about. I miss shows with these values, stories and good clean humour. So glad this and Growing pains are on DVD for my own kids to enjoy one day.

  • Michael J. Fox was the man in the 80's, it was all about Family Ties and Back to the Future :D

  • men!!michael j. fox is awesome!!

because of his damn disease,he can't continue but striving..if he has no disease well even know he's a HHHUUUUGGGGGEEEEEEE HHHHIIIIIITTTT!!!!!!1

  • @sonyfanboy82 spin city and teen wolf were good too

  • @oneawesomefreak1 "Family Ties" wasn't cancelled. It aired for 7 seasons. They had to stop somewhere; the actors had lives to live and careers to expand. Idk, maybe you meant that, but I was just clarifying.

  • Michael J. Fox is a truly amazing actour. He turned a minour roll into one of the most memorable characters on TV. I love Michael J. Fox, and I still watch the TV show, even though it was cancelled nearly a decade before I was even born. MJF is my hero, and just a fantastic guy in general. I love him(:<3

  • There are people that show their age when they age & get older, but Michael J. Fox STILL looks like Alex P. Keaton to this Day!! That's Awesome! Hollywood....i mean, HollyWeird needs to get with it and crank out some Great TV shows like they once did back in the 70's & 80's. The stuff now days STINKS! >:( The 70's had Sanford & Son, Good Times, What's Happening, etc...The 80's had Family Ties, Knight Rider, The A-Team, Small Wonder, Who's The Boss?, etc...WAKE UP HOLLYWOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The thematic vision of this sitcom was absolutely genius. Hippies for parents, Oldest Child very conservative and inclined to the era of the '80's....

Very original. i lived as a kid to sit down at the tv set w/my Dad and Brother every Thursday. 8pm w/The Cos and 8:30 w/Family Ties...9pm was Cheers. It was nothing like it. I miss those days so much.

  • My sister and I loved this show when we were kids...and watching it again now still bring back many wonderful memories. I think Michael J Fox is so inspirational....he made it big, but remained loyal to family ties....unlike many other actors who will demand for a huge pay raises and etc. He also battles parkinson with such grace....I hope they find a cure soon....it's so tragic this has to happen to such a talented and good hearted person.

  • @ILIKESFLAN sad asshole. he has a uncurable desease.
