Americans have an historic opportunity to make the World Trade Center ALL that it can be -- not just the mediocre byproduct of political cowardice, media manipulation, and corporate greed.
It is not too late for a World Trade Center that is actually worthy of the name.The Freedom Tower can be capped off and used as a bunker command center for the police and provide offices for government workers.
With a show of political courage, state-of-the-art Twin Towers could rise before the rest of the current development ever would.
The Twin Towers were a blend of the practical and the sublime. They epitomized both worldly and spiritual striving. The current plan is a letdown and a sellout.
Diminshed expectations have no place at Ground Zero, where we have seen how superhuman mere mortals can be.
It's time to get this right -- because if officials get away with robbing the people of a real World Trade Center, we are unlikely to ever have a real say in anything that matters.

The memorial and the rebuilt twin towers perfectly fit together than what they are building ova there now! Some of you people that doesn't want the twin towers back, have no clue to back up your claims of excuses and are cowards!
