my colt was a lil pest like this but i got him haltered with no fuss cos the whole herd knew me and i was in no rush. i just drove up to the fields several times a week just to play with the babies. when they all came running to me whenever thy saw me, i started putting everythin i had handy, including my clothes over them and from that to a halter, to them it's the same. to actually lead them with it, that'sthe bugger. if they're real young it's real easy, if older, it's a matter of patience...

She has just come back to me all grown up, now it is time to start on her riding career. thanks for the visit and good luck with your horses.

That hoss is being a little bugar, my last filly i halter trained i just baiscly walked up and put the halter on, the one before that ended up damaging my wrist, didn't discourage me none, but its nice to walk away with progress, that colt ended up being a really nice horse on halter, all it takes is time. Your comming along nicly!

Yup, I had to come back and watch this one again too. You have the best voice over on this one. Classic Joescolors!

Used to pay my grand daughter $10 if she could get their first halter on em. She loved it and it cost me some money. LOL

She'd sit for hours in a lawn chair with a bucket and slowly but surely get those babies haltered for me. Made me smile watching her with them.

Great work Joe. You did this so well it makes me smile every time.
