What a wonderful guy and a tragic loss.

This is a childrens programme that has been on TV since 1958 and is still on. It is named after the blue-and-white flag hoisted by a ship in port when it is ready to sail. The reasoning behind the choice of title is that the programme is intended to be a voyage of adventure and discovery for the viewers, constantly covering new topics. Check out Blue Peter on wikipedia. Cheers

@qdbout I have no problem with people speaking their own language but if you want to write a comment on this video it must be in English - no exceptions.

@MNX58 Not everybody on Youtube (and in the world, as a matter of fact) speaks English. Let people speak in their own language, and instead have the open mindedness to just copy paste on Google Translate:
This wonderful man died in Greece unconscious driver.
I write in Greek hopefully save some xeftila

This wonderful man was killed in Greece by unscrupulous drivers.
I write in Greek and hopefully escape some embarrassment.

Looks very formal compared to today's Blue Peter.
The reprinted version of the original hardback version of Into the Remote Places is readily available on Ebay for £24.95. A nice Christmas present!
