On November 4, 2008, Californians will consider Proposition 6, the "(Un)Safe Neighborhoods Act."
The bill was drafted by Mike Reynolds, author of California's Three Strikes Law, and was pushed on the ballot by Republican Senator, George Runner, who received a $1 million donations from Broadcom "bad-boy" billionaire, Henry T. Nicholas III, whose 21-count federal indictment in June included cocaine and fraud charges.
"Prop. 6 would change existing law so more children as young as 14 years old will be tried as adults and relegated to the criminal justice system."
